Delete files for good, safely and permanently – Zer0 is a free utility that can be used to permanently delete files without the possibility of recovery. This free tool permanently erases all types of files without exception, regardless of the security settings and user privileges.

How does it work?
Zer0 has a drag-and-drop tool integrated into the interface, which allows users to upload items directly from any location. Upon upload, the user can specify the number of items that they want to delete.
The listed items are displayed in a list in the main window, and clicking on the items opens the detailed view of each. The individual item view includes the properties of a specific file, as well as various dates and times, such as the creation and modification dates, size, hash and file status.
Click on the Delete button to permanently remove items. All items in the list are deleted after a single click. Zer0 creates a new entry in the Windows context menu, which enables users to delete selected files with just one click.
Manage items – The user can easily manage the uploaded list, emptying it or even removing the items.
Log window – Log window is available for users to view the content of the temporary directory and to see when the last access and/or modification occurred.

Drag-and-drop interface
The interface of Zer0 consists of a small menu bar and a button to display all uploaded items. You can click on the button to see all the files which have been uploaded by the user.

Upload items – Drag-and-drop interface

The user can easily upload files to the program by simply dragging and dropping them into the Zer0 window. Once the file has been added, you can see the properties of the file along with the dates and times it was added, modified and accessed.

List files
After you have uploaded files, you can easily manage the list of items in the window. Clicking on the arrow on the left, you can empty the uploaded list or you can even delete items from the list.
