Background
The song is written by James Horner, Peter Gabriel, David A Stewart, and produced by Steve Smith. The song was a track on Naughty but Nice album, released in 1995.
Horner told PopMatters in a 2014 interview:

The director and I had a meeting about what the concept would be and he wanted a three-part song, which was a bit unusual. I told him that I didn’t want to sing it because it was too crazy for me, but he insisted. So, I did it, and that was the song.”
In 1996 the song was performed live at The Variety Club awards.
