Keymacro is an application designed to let you quickly use keyboard macros (Sequences of keys) to quickly complete repetitive actions. Keymacro stores the set of keys and can be used in the future to repeat those actions. The feature is useful for those who work with many small windows or with one window that is opened in an unusual position. With Keymacro you will be able to go back to that window in its previous position without searching for it.
The application has a main window which contains the list of all macros that have been saved by Keymacro. Once a macro is selected, the application automatically generates a keyboard shortcut for this macro. You can create your own keyboard shortcuts to use the saved macros without the application.
You can also use the Keymacro’s interface to edit the description of a macro and define what action it should perform. The application can then be used to generate keyboard shortcuts for the new macros.
As you can see, the application makes it very easy to create keyboard macros and use them to quickly open windows, change their size, move them, run programs or even to bring back the window. The applications that use them cannot be very large or complex.
The application was developed in VB6. It has been adapted to Windows 2000 by a team of programmers who work as independent contractors. They are willing to make modifications to this application if you provide them with all the source code of the application and the use of the Product Key you will use to install the application in your PC. The source code and the Product Key are given in the Section labeled “Information for Installers”.
The program supports both Unicode and Traditional character sets.

The setup procedure is a fast and easy job that requires minimal supervision. Once finished, you are welcomed by a large window with a clear-cut structure, representing KeyMacro’s interface. Multiple tabs are supported, which means that you can work in multiple projects at the same time.
Edit score information and assign instruments
The software application provides you with an easy-to-follow wizard for setting up the musical score, where you can edit the dedication, title, subtitle, subsubtitle, instrument, composer, arranger, poet, meter, piece, opus, copyright and tagline, as well as preview this information in the sheet in real time.
Configure score and general settings
In addition, you can put together the list of instruments to include in your score. They are organized into several categories by type, namely strings, plucked strings, woodwinds, brass, vocal, keyboard instruments, percussion, special (chord names, figured bass), and containers (staff group, score, book, book part).

Evaluation and conclusion
We haven’t come across any problems in our testing, as KeyMacro did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. Its impact on computer performance was low. Taking into account its rich features and configuration parameters, a lot of users should find KeyMacro useful for creating and editing musical sheets.
